Why did you choose Beijing as your base?
We chose the city because it holds the lead with the largest number of software products delivered per year in the region. Beijing contributes close to 40% of the country's software exports. The city provides for the highest reimbursement for software-related value-added tax, and has a high concentration of software professionals. It is no less than six times a leader. It is the largest software exporter, and a hub of tech professionals and software enterprises providers.

Can you do a SWOT Analysis for Beijing ?
Strength: Software enterprise and export market; large, skilled, English-speaking labor pool
Weakness: Difficult, time-consuming process to get short-term working visas for engineers to work overseas (onshore).
Opportunities: The continued expansion and growth of the overall Chinese economy will lead to tremendous opportunities.
Threat: Social unrest. Growing disparity in income between urban and rural areas.

BEIJING is no less than six times a leader. it is the largest software exporter, and a hub of tech professionals and software enterprises providers in china.
Cyrill Eltschinger, CEO, I.T. United

What is the wage structure for IT professionals in the city?
A software engineer with one to three years of experience gets $4,000–$10,000 per anum while a fresher earns $2,000–$6,000. IT professionals with more than eight years of experience can earn $9,00–$35,000 annually.

How do you rate Beijing 's infrastructure?
Beijing provides world-class technical and communications infrastructure. Broadband connectivity is phenomenal. Access to Beijing by air is very convenient from anywhere in the world.
